TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1: Bangkok-Kanchanaburi

•               07:00am. Pick up from hotel in Bangkok

•               Depart to Kanchanaburi province (128 km. to the west of Bangkok)

•               Morning: Arrive at Kanchanaburi Visit Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway. The fully air–conditioned centre offers the visitor an educational and moving experience. Visit Kanchanaburi War Cemetery which is memorial to some 6000 allied prisoners of war (POWs) who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place. Visit the world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai, part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs.

•               Noon: Lunch at local restaurant.

•               Afternoon: Visit the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre. The interpretive centre presents the history of the Burma-Thailand railway under chronological and thematic headings, explaining the rationale for the railway, the way in which it was constructed and the hardship experienced by those who worked on it. Then you can descend the long set of stairs behind the museum to Hellfire Pass Memorial Walking Trail following the original rail bed. Then transfer to Phutakien pier and take a long-tailed boat from Phu Takien pier to The Floathouse River Kwai. Check-in upon arrival.

•               Evening            Dinner and overnight at The Floathouse River Kwai.

Day 2: Kanchanaburi-Erawan Falls- Safari Park Kanchanaburi

•               09:00am. After breakfast, take a long-tailed boat Phu Takien pier we’ll pick up at the pier

•               Continue on road to visit Erawan falls

•               Once at the falls, you will spend 3 hours walking up to all 7 tiers of Erawan Falls. If you are faint hearted you will only walk to the easily accessible first few lower tiers, you will decide how far we should go. It is possible to swim in blue/green waters which are full of fish. Good to bring with you hiking shoes, swimwear and towel.

•               After having lunch at local restaurants near the visitor center we will drive you to Safari Park Kanchanaburi a unique open zoo that brings you face-to-face with the wonders of wildlife. This remarkable destination offers an unparalleled experience, allowing you to drive through distinct zones populated by tigers, lions, zebras, and giraffes. Imagine the thrill as friendly giraffes lean into your car, seeking treats, creating perfect opportunities for unforgettable close-up photos. •               Back to The Floathouse River Kwai

•               Evening            Dinner and overnight at The Floathouse River Kwai

Day 3: Kanchanaburi-Bangkok

•               Morning: After breakfast, take a long-tailed boat to visit the Mon tribal village, where the Mon people have lived for generations. Visit the Golden Rock, Buddha image cave and village school. Take a short walk on easy jungle trail along the River bank to get to the stunning viewpoint of River Kwai. Then return to The Floathouse River Kwai

•               11.00am. Check-out and take a long-tailed boat to Phu Takien pier and proceed to have lunch at local restaurant nearby Namtok train station

•               01:00pm. Take a historic ride on Death Railway Train passing over original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs

•               02:43pm. After passing the death railway, the train stop at Kanchanaburi train station we’ll meet there at meeting point

•               Journey back to Bangkok

•               06:00pm. Arrive at Bangkok and drop of hotels or Airport

•               End of trip safe and sound
